Hyundai Motor Group is redefining the future of work at its renovated headquarters in Seoul, where humans and robots seamlessly collaborate. The redesigned space, spanning five floors, functions as a living lab for human-robot interaction, built around the concepts of connection and collaboration.

Three specialized robots support daily operations. The DAL-e Gardener autonomously waters plants using 3D vision and a robotic arm, working in coordination with landscape managers. The DAL-e Delivery robot brings coffee directly to employees, using facial recognition technology for accurate delivery. Meanwhile, a quadruped security robot based on Boston Dynamics’ Spot platform patrols the building 24/7 to ensure safety.

The headquarters is equipped with a robot-friendly infrastructure, including dedicated robot stations, exclusive elevator access, and integrated systems such as ‘Facey’ (facial recognition) and ‘NARCHON’ (central robot control platform). The building has also been certified as a robot-friendly environment by UL Solutions.

This initiative showcases Hyundai Motor Group’s vision of a future where robots are not just tools, but collaborative partners enhancing everyday work life.
