- Hyundai Motor Türkiye (HMTR) has secured a spot among the top 10 companies in the ISO – Turkey's Top 500 Industrial Enterprises list for 2024. Rising three places from last year, HMTR ranked 10th with net sales reaching 127.5 billion TL.
- HMTR CEO Alex Kim highlighted that the company produced 245,000 vehicles last year and commented: "We believe this achievement in the ISO 500 list will further boost our motivation. With the launch of electric vehicle production in 2026, we aim to open a new chapter and strengthen our competitive edge."
Operating in Türkiye for nearly 30 years, Hyundai Motor Türkiye (HMTR) rose to 10th place in the 2024 edition of the Istanbul Chamber of Industry's (ISO) Top 500 Industrial Enterprises list. During this period, the company's net sales reached 127.5 billion TL, improving its ranking by three spots compared to 13th place last year.
Commenting on the results, Hyundai Motor Türkiye CEO Alex Kim noted that HMTR reached a production volume of 245,000 units in 2024, and stated: "As Hyundai's longest-serving overseas plant outside South Korea, we have been making a positive contribution to Türkiye's economy and employment since the day we were established. In a time when global trade dynamics and economic conditions are rapidly changing, we believe this achievement in the ISO 500 list will further strengthen our motivation."

Alex Kim pointed out that four of the top ten companies on the ISO 500 list operate in the automotive industry, and said: "Today, we clearly see how valuable the automotive industry has become in terms of both production and exports. As we have done for nearly 30 years, we continue to take pioneering steps to support the growth of our industry. With the launch of electric vehicle production in 2026, we aim to open a new chapter and strengthen our competitive advantage."
