As Hyundai Motor Türkiye, we organized a Design Jam in collaboration with Habitat Association and the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV) to support young people in raising awareness and developing solutions regarding gender equality. At the event, held on March 6th at our Istanbul office, TEV scholarship recipients and our interns participated in an intensive design-focused thinking workshop.
Participants generated ideas centered on gender equality in the areas of education, work life, daily life, social participation, and safety, through a process consisting of steps such as empathy, problem definition, idea development, and solution design. These proposals, prepared with the guidance of Habitat experts, have the potential to create sustainable social impact.
Shaping the Future with Young People
As part of our corporate social responsibility initiative, Hyundai Continue, we continue to develop projects supporting young people with a focus on “Hope.” With this event, organized in conjunction with International Women's Day on March 8th, we aimed to provide young people with a platform where they can freely develop their ideas while raising awareness about gender equality.
Together with Habitat Association, we will continue to work to enable young people to create projects that contribute to social equality with their innovative ideas.
