Introducing young talent to the automotive industry with HTech

As Hyundai Motor Türkiye, we launched the new term of our HTech Long-Term Vocational School Internship Program in October to support the professional development of young talents.

Over the course of the 9-month program, students will gain hands-on experience in various departments of our İzmit Plant, including Maintenance, Press, Body, and Quality. This opportunity allows them to closely explore the automotive industry and manufacturing processes while applying the theoretical knowledge they acquired during their education in a real working environment and further developing their professional competencies.

Through our program, we have provided valuable industry experience to more than 50 vocational school students in Kocaeli over the past two years. Furthermore, we have welcomed more than 50% of our former HTech interns into our workforce.

As part of the Welcome Day organized for our new interns, participants had the opportunity to learn more about our culture, values, and ways of working through the Hyundai Way Training. They also heard firsthand experiences from colleagues who previously joined the HTech Program and are now continuing their careers at Hyundai Motor Türkiye.

Commenting on the program, Barbaros Yıldırım, General Manager of Administration Division at Hyundai Motor Türkiye, said:

"Through our HTech Program, we provide young people with the opportunity to experience a real manufacturing environment, transform their theoretical knowledge into practical skills, and enhance their professional competencies. We believe in investing in young talent and supporting them in entering the workforce better prepared for their future careers."
