The Hyundai World Technicians Olympics was held in South Korea with the participation of 75 technicians from 50 countries. Technicians were evaluated through written and practical exams in three categories: internal combustion engines, electric vehicles, and commercial vehicles. Virtual reality applications were also used to safely assess challenging and high-risk maintenance tasks in a realistic environment.
Representing Türkiye, Mehmet Ali Akçay won third place worldwide in the Electric Vehicle category. Trained by the Hyundai Motor Türkiye Training Academy, Akçay’s success reflects the brand’s strong performance and expertise in both sales and aftersales services.
