2026 HGenius Long-Term Internship Program: Meeting with Young Talents
We organized a special day for the first group of interns joining the 2026 HGenius program, where they had the chance to get to know our culture, opportunities, and working environment more closely.
HGenius Day began with an opening speech by Selim Tunç, People& Culture Partner Department Manager. Afterwards, during an enjoyable breakfast, our interns participated in an ice‑breaking activity and got to know each other better.
What did the HGenius interns learn?
Throughout this special day organized just for them, our HGenius interns:;
- Became more familiar with the corporate structure of Hyundai Motor Group and Hyundai Motor Türkiye,
- Learned the details of the orientation presentation we prepared to guide them through their HGenius journey,
- Reinforced their knowledge with a fun quiz at the end of the presentation
During the plant tour, they explored our newly updated production facilities for IONIQ 3 — our second locally manufactured model to begin production this year. Listening to our experienced engineers, the HGenius interns learned about the efficiency of the automation systems and closely observed how production lines integrated with advanced technologies operate in our factory, which has an annual production capacity of 245,000 vehicles.
Experienced HGenius Alumnis shed light on the newcomers
After closely examining the production line, the HGenius interns visited the Hyundai Life Center, which we inaugurated last year. Touring the center — home to a disaster simulation unit, hands‑on training and simulation areas, and a sports complex — the interns experienced our comprehensive occupational health and safety trainings while also observing our social and sports facilities.
Later in the day, participants from our long-term internship program who joined the company as full‑time employees since 2018 came together with the 2026 HGenius interns for an open and sincere conversation session. During this meeting, former HGenius interns shared their career journeys and inspired the new group; questions were answered, expectations were discussed, and meaningful connections were built. The day concluded with a closing speech by Barbaros Yıldırım, General Manager of Administrative Units at Hyundai Motor Türkiye, who also shared his own experiences.
This special day was a wonderful opportunity for our HGenius interns to get to know our company culture more closely and make a strong start to their journey. We thank all our colleagues who supported and contributed to the realization of this event.
